The Wayfarers
Country Road in Provence By Night is my favorite Van Gogh. I call it Wayfarers in Provence By Starlight. We be wayfarers walking up Miwa Mountain by Moonlight and strolling the misty gardens of the Heian Temple in Kyoto on an almost rainy day. This interpretation echoes with a beautiful description but it is not based on Van Gogh finally being old enough to understand love. Understanding the Wayfarers and The Cypress of Provence Here Bill Damon sees the coming of the end of life, but I see the recognition of the importance of love never too late to be found.
